Full time pilots will be assigned flights 4 days per week out of airports within their metro area.  Currently, applications are being accepted for pilots for work in the Eastern and Western United States. Training takes place in Atlanta, GA, prior to heading back to work at domicile.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Corporate and charter missions throughout the United States, Canada, Caribbean and Mexico.
  • Assist with ramp operations, aircraft movement, fueling, cleaning, etc.
  • Escalate customer and internal pilot issues to the Senior Flight Instructors
  • Facilitate maintenance and ferry squawks on Aeronux Fleet and corporate aircrafts.
  • Operate Cirrus aircraft in accordance with applicable regulations and Aeronux company policies.
  • Make timely and accurate decisions regarding safety of flight.
  • Manage travel expenses in accordance with Aeronux company policies.
  • Act as pilot in command of Cirrus aircraft while performing corporate flight missions and ferry flights.
  • Process and maintain a deep level of aircraft knowledge and be a model aviator and Aeronux representative.
  • Perform normal pre-flight and post flight inspections as well as clean and service assigned aircraft.

Schedule:

  • Must based at one of designated field offices.
  • Full time pilots will be assigned flights 4 days per week out of airports within their metro area.
  • Must be willing to carry a mobile phone or other similar communications and be accessible 24/7 as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Willing to be scheduled as an after-hours on-call person in rotation with other personnel to include weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance, excellent phone demeanor, with ability to set priorities.
  • Must possess effective communication, organization, presentation, and administrative skills.
  • Must have an energetic, friendly, well groomed, professional and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to generate/write reports and business correspondence.
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance is a must.

Certificate or Licensures:

  • FAA ASEL Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot License required
  • FAA 1st or 2nd class medical required
  • FAA ASEL CFI(I) preferred

Requirements:

  • Part 135 eligibility requirements as a pilot:
    • Must hold an FAA Commercial Pilot’s Certificate with an instrument rating, or ATP Certificate with an airplane category rating.
    • Have at least 1,200 hours of flight time as a pilot, including:
      • 500 hours of Cross Country Time.
      • 100 hours of Night Flight Time.
      • 75 hours of Actual or Simulated Instrument Time, with 50 of those hours in actual flight.
    • Must hold a current and valid first or second class medical certificate.
    • IFR in congested airspace, mountain flying, icing conditions, IMC flight, and night experience preferred.
    • US Citizen, Green Card Holder or Valid work Visa

Important: Due to the weight sensitive nature of the Cirrus SR22, applicants may only weigh 200 lbs. or less.

Experience:

  • Ability to speak a second language (preferably Spanish) a plus
  • Company paid classroom and on the job training is provided along with a mentorship program.
  • Knowledge of Cirrus SR22 aircraft/performance/specs preferred
