May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, technical developments, etc).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing day-to-day flight operations in accordance with all Federal and company regulations and requirements
  • Ensure all crewmembers and trips are scheduled in accordance with the FARs and Company policies and procedures
  • Communicate with crewmembers, and others as needed, to convey accurate information to ensure safe, efficient and timely flight plans and services
  • Oversee the scheduling and managing of ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and airline travel for flight crew and/or passengers
  • Confirm trip sheets and all other required trip documents are sent to and received by the appropriate flight department and/or crewmembers
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal departments maintain and efficient schedule and ensure up time for aircraft.
  • Negotiate service item discounts with FBOs and contract fuel providers on a daily basis to meet department budgets
  • Identify ways to continually improve practices and efficiencies for various job functions to ensure smooth department operation
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor degree required
  • Knowledge of FOS preferred
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, nights, holidays, and other “on call” hours
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and task management skills

Functional Competencies:

  • Expertise in applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR™s), General Operation Manuals, and MEL™s
  • Experience in the use of maintenance reference materials including Manufacturer's Maintenance Manuals, Structural Repair Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Component Manuals, etc.
  • Must be proficient in spreadsheet, word documents and other office software.

Required Education & Experience:

  • 3 years Flight Operations Manager experience
