Aeronux Airways is hiring a Corporate Aircraft Dispatcher who will be directly responsible for the safe, efficient and professional operation a large corporate fleet. The Corporate Aircraft Dispatcher will assist with organizing, planning and overseeing of all company aircraft scheduling and flight planning. Ensure compliance with FAR’s and ICAO flight standards as well as company Flight Operations Manual and SMS procedures for each flight. Communicate with Executives, flight crews, FBO’s as in addition to third-party providers on the most recent schedules and servicing needs.  

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

This position will report to the Flight Operations Administrator and will work closely with corporate flight crews insuring executive travel requests are met in a safe and expedient manner. Some duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Organize and oversee all scheduling and planning of company aircraft, assist with reconciling all flight department expenditures.
  • Monitor the progress of all company aircraft (supplemental lift) through established flight-following procedures.
  • Ensure crews, maintenance department and executives are aware of the latest company Aircraft schedules.
  • Obtain current fuel pricing, log flight records and crew training into PFM software.
  • Meet and greet arriving/departing passengers and assist with their needs when needed and possible.
  • Schedule and confirm ground transportation and catering needs.
  • Ensure that all flights are conducted in compliance with SMS, Fatigue and Flight Operations manual.
  • Assist the Flight Operations Administrator with crew scheduling, crew currency and other vital certificates.
  • Assist with compiling the department’s annual budget and perform other duties as required or assigned.

Travel: 

The position requires minimal travel. Annual aircraft familiarization flights (each type) Is encouraged as well as the opportunity to attend annual industry seminars and conferences.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Willing to be scheduled as an after-hours on-call person in rotation with other personnel to include weekends and holidays.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required, College degree is preferred
  • 2-5 years of corporate aviation experience required
  • Understanding of a corporate flight department is required
  • Previous aviation experience a must, FBO, Charter sales, Airport Ops, etc.
  • A Private pilots license and/or FAA Dispatchers license preferred
  • Ability to work flex shift hours with weekend on-call coverage
  • Strong communications skills compatible with C-suite level
  • Solid computer and organizational skills with excellent decision-making abilities
  • Must be comfortable with changes and tight deadlines
  • Comprehensive understanding of FAR 91 ops, weather theory, systems and aviation weather reports/forecasts.
  • Professional appearance, excellent phone demeanor, with ability to set priorities.
  • Must have an energetic, friendly, well groomed, professional and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to generate/write reports and business correspondence.
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance is a must.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and professional outlook is a must
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team

  • US Citizen, Green Card Holder or Valid work Visa

Experience:

  • Ability to speak a second language (preferably Spanish) a plus
  • Degree(s) in aviation management a plus
  • Knowledge of various aircraft/performance/specs preferred
  • Experience using industry software (JetInsight, FOS, etc) a plus
